So get this…Beth and Shawn met at a wedding that we photographed!  In fact, Beth was a bridesmaid at the wedding.  How sweet is that?!?  And of course we were even more excited when Cassie and Nate passed our names along to these two when they started planning their wedding.  Heck, that’s the best compliment we can get! :)  We were certainly looking forward to officially meeting them while they were out in Colorado around the Holidays.  Their idea for the perfect engagement session…open fields of a snow!  We found the perfect location up in Evergreen and it even began to snow towards the end of the session…perfect!  Here are a few of our favorites…

We are getting super excited over here for Corrie and Scott’s wedding this weekend up at the Boettcher Mansion!  We knew this Seattle couple would be a ton of fun to work with…and we had such a blast with them while they were out for Thanksgiving!  We headed out to Cheeseman Park for a few shots and then ventured over to Larimer Square to warm up with some Starbucks and to take a couple more photos at night.  Here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session…and be sure to check back soon for some of the picture from their winter wedding!

The Holidays are almost here and it seems like we’ve been flying around like crazy…trying to get everything finished!  I’m happy to announce that I’m done with all of my shopping, baking and wrapping!  (Imagine me wiping my brow.)  I finally had a chance to sit down and get Mandy and Kevin’s blog post up too!  Hey…look at me go! :)

When we first met Mandy and Kevin over some delicious ice cream we knew that they were going to be a blast to work with…so we were definitely excited to see them again for their engagement session about a month ago!  We headed down to Parker for a fun evening of shooting, wind (quite miserable wind actually…but they were total troopers), lots of laughter, yummy food and a wonder dog named Finn!  We had such a great time with these two and we are so excited for their wedding next September at the Canyon Wind Cellars in Palisade, CO.  Can’t wait!  Here are our favorites from the day…enjoy! :)

A little over a month ago we were up in Golden for one of our last weddings of the year.  Stacey and Sean were married at the Boettcher Mansion at the top of Lookout Mountain in Golden.  It was a crisp, fall Colorado day…and it couldn’t have been more perfect for this pair!  Julie with Bliss Elevated made sure that they entire day ran smoothly!  Stacey and Sean are two of a kind.  Generous, kind, loving and completely hilarious!  We couldn’t have been more happy to be with them on their big day…here are some of our favorites…

I little over a month ago Andrew and I had the great pleasure of photographing Katie and Andy’s wedding up at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden.  Emily Lenich of Particulars Planning did an incredible job with all of the details of the day.  Despite the snowy and cold weather outside, the entire day went off without a hitch…well…I guess there was one hitch!  Katie and Andy got hitched!  :)  Congrats, you two!  We feel so lucky to have been there to celebrate with you!  Here are a few of our favorites from the day…

We love working with couples that are fun and have a great sense of humor.  Mostly because we like to think that we’re pretty fun and we certainly think we’re funny!  So when we first met Brika and Justin, we instantly knew that they we were going to have a blast working with them!  And we sure did!  Brika and Justin were married about a month ago up at the Boettcher Mansion at the top of Lookout Mountain in Golden.  They opted for a morning wedding…serving espresso and a yummy brunch.  They both love breakfast foods…so it was the perfect fit!  We loved being there with Brika & Justin and their family and friends on their big day – here are a few of our favorites!

BOO!  :)  (Don’t worry…they’re not all ours!)  Can you guess which one is Andrew’s?

We’ve been busy little bees over here…editing away at weddings and engagement sessions.  So we’ll have plenty to share over the next couple of weeks.  But today it’s Andrea and Dave’s turn!  After meeting Andrea and Dave for the first time a few weeks ago…we knew that they were a good fit for us!  They are fun and easy-going…full of laughter and so obviously in love!  We had such a great time with them last week during their engagement session.  We headed to the park where they first met.  It happened by chance, but if you ask me it must have been fate.  She was walking her dog…he was walking his dog (all I picture is 101 Dalmations, with the dogs tangling the two of them up in the leashes!)  We can’t wait for their wedding next July at the Greenbriar Inn!  Here are some of our favorites…

Why are kids so cute?!?  When my good friend Terra announced that she and her husband, Matt were having twins last year…I was beyond excited!  I think I’ve known Terra for about 12 years.  She’s been there for nearly every life-changing and important part of both my sister’s and my life…and I can’t imagine her not being there for all of the important things to come!  I finally got to meet Grayson and Finley last weekend…as Terra made the trip with the twins (with Grandma’s help!) back to Colorado for a visit.  They are just as adorable as I expected…if not more!  Grayson is a mini-version of his daddy, Matt…laid-back and easy-going.  And Finley looks just like her momma (with the exception of her blue eyes)…but her personality reminds me of Terra.  Look out! :)

I only got to spend a few hours with them, but I feel oh so fortunate to have been able to capture some memories of the twins’ first trip to Colorado.  They’re nearly one year old and I can’t wait to see where this life takes them!  Congratulations, Terra and Matt!  Grayson and Finley are simply amazing and I can’t wait for you to come back soon!!!
