I’ve been in Las Vegas since Saturday and I’m getting ready to board my plane and come home. I can’t wait to get home, see Jessica and get back to the real world. I spent four days with a bunch of my friends gambling, eating shrimp coctail and attempting to gain access to the roof of the different casinos (we failed in those attempts) on Fremont Street. There were 10 of us and we had an awesome time. It’s always great to get so many of us together (mostly friends from college) from around the country and spend some time together.

I then stayed a few extra days to attend some of the festivites of the Wedding and Portrait Photographer Convention. I spent a day walking through the tradeshow, visiting with a bunch of friends and making some new friends. It’s great to see so many passionate photographers and so much amazing work. It’s definitely motivated to continue working hard and smart to try and achieve some of our goals.

I love Vegas but 6 days was definitely long enough for me (that’s probably because I wan’t winning any money though.) I did however win $70 playing craps right before I had to catch a taxi to the airport. It was an awesome trip and while I’m already excited for next year I’m more excited to get home and hug my beautiful wife.
