I’m sure you’ve heard of Twitter and you’ve probably thought it was another pointless time waster on the internet. Well you’re wrong (even though you can waste a lot of time on twitter if you wanted.) I just started using it recently and I’ve found it to be a lot of fun and a great way to connect with all kinds of people. I haven’t ever met many of the people I ‘follow” but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t connected. There are all kinds of experts on many different topics and so many links to great online articles. If you have a great quote…you can post it on twitter for everyone to read. If you’ve written an interesting blog post you can twiiter about it and let everyone read it.

When I was in Las Vegas last week it was great to use twitter because I could find out what my friends were doing. It made it very easy to meet up with people and find out where others and what others were doing. My goal with twitter is to not post many of the “I’m eating breakfast” type of tweets (that’s what you officially call a post on twitter.) I want to try and post useful information and ideas that will give you a reason to keep following me.
