I attended the Extreme Entrepreneurship event today and it was really interesting and informative. It is a group of very young entrepreneurs (most of them under 30) who have started and built some very great businesses. They shared their stories, answered questions and tried to impart some of their wisdom to everyone attending.
The central theme between all of these great entrepreneurs was “finding your passion” and “stop making excuses.” I think these two statements are so incredibly important because without them you will never be successful. Once you know what your purpose is and once you realize what you’re passionate about you will begin to see where you can create and build a business. Once you stop making excuses as to why you can’t start a business (too busy, not enough time, economy is bad, people tell me I can’t, I’m too old, I’m too young, I don’t have any money…) you’ll start to realize all the reasons why you should start your business.
So what excuses are you making? What are you passionate about? And are you passionate about what you do?
