Last weekend my dad and I went to the annual Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet here in Denver. As many of you know I spend a lot of time backpacking and hunting all over Colorado. It’s one of my true passions and something I care deeply about. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) is an amazing national organization who’s mission is simple…”The Elk Foundation’s mission is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat.” It is not simply a hunting organization it is an organization that strives to protect habitat and land all throughout the country and it’s an organization I’m very proud to be a part of. Their annual banquet is always a great time with a live and silent auction, raffle tickets and a great dinner. Here’s just a few pictures I captured while I was there. If you’ve never been to a live auction it’s actually a lot of fun. And would probably be more fun if you had money to spend.
