I know it’s a few days late but I hope everone had a wonderful Easter weekend (whatever you believe.) Jess and I are both Catholic, as is most of our family, so the last week (and the last 40 days) were very important to us. We attended Church a few days in a row and even went to confession this year…it’s been awhile. I always love Easter day because we spend the whole day with our family, not to mention the corn fritters at the White Fence Farm.
My grandpa is 86(?) years old and finally last year he passed off the family picture taking to me. My grandpa got some amazing run out of a bunch of old film cameras in his closet. Some years there wasn’t any film, some years there weren’t any batteries, some years the camera was turned backwards, some year his finger was in all of the pictures. It’s always been one of my favorite memories of Easter but finally last year my grandma asked if I would start taking some of the family pictures. I reluctantly accepted because I know how much my grandpa loved doing it. My grandma is very particular and likes a vertical picture of each individual family…so I hope she’s happy.
Here’s just a few pictures from our Easter weekend…
We always dye Easter eggs for my younger cousins to find. Here’s my dad creating one of his masterpieces.

Some of us are egg artists and others aren’t…(I’m talking about you Josh.)

This is my whole family (thanks to uncle Bob for taking it.) That’s my parents in the front and then me and Jess on the back left, my youngest sister in the middle and my older sister and her boyfriend on the right. Not a bad looking group.

And of course my grandparents who have been married for 60 years.
