Well we’ve finally had a chance to breathe…and it’s about time that we get caught up on blogging!  We had such a blast photographing Joel and Katie’s beautiful wedding in St. Cloud, Minnesota!  Neither Andrew nor myself had ever been to Minnesota…and upon hearing that our good college friend Joel would be getting married there in July…we were warned…bring bug spray!  Surprisingly, the mosquitoes didn’t eat us alive…and the weather wasn’t even too miserable!  We couldn’t have been more honored to photograph Joel and Katie’s wedding.  They are such a great couple and they were so much fun to work with!  Here are a few of our favorites from their big day…enjoy!

Okay don’t laugh…but this bouquet picture was taken against a trash dumpster.  Our friends were giving me a really hard time about that…but look at how cool this picture turned out!  :)

Their first look…

Joel and Katie were married at St. John’s Abbey which was an incredible setting for the ceremony.  The back wall of the Abbey is made entirely of stained-glass windows.

I loved Katie’s bright-colored flowers…they really stood out against the bridesmaids black dresses.

Joel and Katie were adorable dancing together during their first dance!

There was probably more dancing at this wedding than any other wedding that we’ve ever attended!  Folks were getting down!

Joel and Katie – Thanks so much for allowing us to be part of your very special day!  We are so happy for you both and we can’t wait to see where this world takes you!
