Meet Ellie and Jeff!  They currently live in New Hampshire, but we were able to fit in an engagement session during their most recent trip to Denver.  Actually…the night before the two celebrated their bachelor and bachelorette parties with some of their local friends…but they were total troopers as we tromped around downtown Denver for their urban engagement pictures!  We can’t wait for their wedding next month at the Riverfront Park and Oxford Hotel…it’s going to be awesome!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

A couple of weekends ago we met Julia and Luke for some relaxed Colorado mountain engagement pictures.  We started at the top of Berthoud Pass with some spectacular views of the gorgeous Colorado mountains and then headed up to the top of the mountain at Winter Park.  Julia and Luke are getting married next summer at the Meadows of Marshdale and are having their reception at the Evergreen Lake House.  We can’t wait for their wedding…it’s going to be a fun one!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

Last week Andrew and I headed out in downtown Denver to shoot some portraits for my cousin Scott and his wife Ashley.  Scott and Ashley just celebrated their 5th anniversary so it was the perfect timing for some new pictures of the two of them!  Their fun, playful nature certainly made them easy to photograph too!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

After traveling thousands of miles from their home in Germany to Colorado, Sarah and Matthias celebrated their “American Wedding” yesterday at the beautiful La Foret Conference Center in Black Forest, Colorado.  When we first “met” Sarah and Matthias over a Skype video call, we knew that they were going to be so much fun to work with…and meeting them in person this week definitely solidified our first impressions!  Sarah and Matthias celebrated their first wedding this May in Germany, so this session wasn’t exactly an “engagement shoot” but it was still fun to go out and shoot some laid-back, relaxed portraits.  Here are a few of our favorites from their session.  Be sure to check back for some of their beautiful wedding photos!  Enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago we met Katie and Par for the first time near downtown Denver.  Katie contacted us about doing some engagement pictures for them here in Denver, as they are getting married in Chicago.  It’s always a little strange to photograph people that we’ve just met…it’s kind of like “Hello…my name is Jessica and this is my bearded husband Andrew…and we’re going to take your picture now…just act natural.”  But it couldn’t have gone any better when we met Katie and Par.  We hit it off right away and had such a great time photographing them!  Now we are so bummed that we are going to miss the wedding!  :(  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

We are so lucky!  We get to hang out with fun couples…who are head-over-heels in love with each other!  Tricia and Brian are no exception!  We met them a couple of weeks ago for some laid-back Colorado engagement pictures.  We actually just photographed Tricia’s brother, Joel’s wedding…and we can’t wait to work with the whole family again!  We met Tricia and Brian in Morrison and had a blast shooting at Lair O’ the Bear Park…here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

I can’t even imagine only being 3 weeks old…crazy!  Brycen might just be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen…and you can just tell that his parents are overwhelmed with joy!  Andrew and I had the great pleasure of photographing Emily, Travis and baby Brycen last week and we couldn’t have had more fun!  Emily and Andrew lived in the same dorm freshman year in college up at CSU and have remained friends through the years!  Brycen is an adorable, cuddly, bouncing baby boy and we couldn’t be more excited for Emily and Travis!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from their session…enjoy!

We are so lucky!  We get to see people one of their happiest days…and we get to work with some really great people – like Sarah and Pete!  We met Sarah and Pete for their engagement pictures a couple of weeks ago.  We headed up to Idaho Springs and had a blast shooting in the fun alleyways in town.  We had intended to then move up to Berthoud Pass to get some cool mountain pictures…but when we arrived at the top of Berthoud Pass it was completely socked in – we could hardly see 20 feet in front of us from all of the fog!  So we decided to meet Sarah and Pete later for a few more sunny pictures in downtown Denver.  Sarah and Pete are such a fun couple and we can’t wait for their wedding this September at the Cathedral Basilica of Immaculate Conception and the Grand Hyatt downtown!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago the weather was crazy here in Denver!  We had scheduled Lisa and Josh’s engagement session and the evening turned out to be quite rainy and cold…but Lisa and Josh were troopers as we played out in the rain for a bit.  We walked around the Belmar shopping district and then headed over to Belmar Park.  We got some fun pictures in the rain, but decided it would be fun to head out again when Mother Nature was behaving to get some shots that were rain-free!  We met Lisa and Josh for some yummy dessert at Little Man Ice Cream and headed out downtown for a few more photos.  Lisa and Josh – we had such a blast with you both and we can’t wait for your wedding later this month!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures…enjoy!
