Kerri Butler of A Touch of Bliss did an amazing job of bringing Lauren and Archie’s dream wedding into a reality.  I loved the copper details that could be found throughout the entire reception.

Pink Monkey Solutions did an incredible job with the decor and lighting for the reception.  The Monkey’s turned the blank ceiling at Cielo at Castle Pines into lighting with magnificent aspen tree leaves…it completely transformed the room!

Lauren and Archie’s guests received individual favors filled with goodies…how cute!  Lisa with It’s a Gift provided this fun detail – Love it!

Paula with Teacup Shop provided the amazing cake…it tasted even better than it looks (if that’s even possible!)

Elements Catering provided all of the delicious food for the evening…yum!

Pink Monkey Solutions also set up an amazing lounge area where guests could sit back, relax and chat.

The first dance…

Archie’s son got the dancing started for the night…he was pretty good!

Lauren’s grandparents just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary…how sweet is that?!?

The guys even sang their rendition of “You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feelin’.”

A Music Plus kept the party going with some great dance music…everyone was out on the dance floor!  And if they weren’t on the dance floor, they were having fun in the photo booth set up by Shutterbooth.

Of course we had to get a picture of Kerri with Lauren and Archie at the end of the night!

A huge thanks to all of the VOWS Wedding Collective members that helped to make Lauren and Archie’s wedding a huge success!  This was the first wedding where ALL of us worked together to do what we do best…and it couldn’t have been more fun!

Andrew and I were lucky to be part of the VOWS Wedding Collective and Everyday Show’s (Channel 2) Dream Wedding Giveaway.  Lauren and Archie have spent the past couple of months allowing the viewers of the Everyday Show to choose nearly every big and small detail of their wedding day.  From the venue to the dress and almost everything in between, Lauren and Archie graciously accepted every decision (in fact…I think they loved every decision) and enjoyed the whirlwind of planning an amazing wedding in only two months!  Kerri Butler with A Touch of Bliss had a fantastic vision for the big day and all of the VOWS vendors did an incredible job of creating the wedding of Lauren and Archie’s dreams.  We feel so blessed to have been a part of it!  Here is part one of some of our favorite pictures from the wedding.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for more of the beautiful details from Lauren and Archie’s wedding…enjoy!

Lauren’s gorgeous bridal gown was provided by Little White Dress Bridal Shop…the lace detail was absolutely stunning!

I loved Lauren’s adorable Luichiny shoes!  I couldn’t decide which picture to share, so I put in a few!

Lisa with Sweet Pea Flowers did an amazing job with all of the flowers for the wedding.  The bridesmaids bouquets consisted of beautiful succulents, calla lilies, peonies, peacock feathers and accents of copper wire…too cool!

Lauren spent the morning getting ready at the Magnolia Hotel.  Janine Schmenk with Makeup by Janine did a fabulous job with Lauren’s makeup and Gina Menapace with Salon Onyx at Sola Salon Studios did a great job with her hair!

Lauren and Archie’s wedding rings were provided by Jay Feder Jewelers…love this shot!

Lauren’s bouquet featured gorgeous orchids, peonies, calla lilies, roses, succulents and fun, flirty feathers.  How cool does that look?!?

Cate from Little White Dress was there to make sure that Lauren looked perfect in her dress and veil before heading down the aisle!

A few more details from the day.  I loved the guys dark brown tuxes paired with the teal ties (Provided by Al’s Formal Wear) and the ladies teal bridesmaids dresses from Little White Dress.

Lauren had her grandmother’s ring tied onto a string on her bouquet.  I love personal touches like that!

Cielo at Castle Pines has the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony and a grand hall for fabulous receptions!

After the ceremony, Andrew took Lauren and Archie up to Daniel’s Park while I stayed back and took a bunch of detail pictures.  I love these pictures that Andrew captured!

Lauren and Archie – we couldn’t be more happy and excited for you!  We are so happy that we were able to play a role in your very special day!  Congratulations!!

Andrew and I have been swamped lately…but I’m finally getting around to share some of the photos from Ashley and Kendall’s wedding in Breckenridge.  We met Ashley at her parent’s house…and were greeted with squeals of excitement as we saw her for the first time on her wedding day!  Ashley has this infectious personality…always happy and bubbly…just the type of person that you want to spend time with!  Kendall is her perfect compliment and we couldn’t have been more happy to share their special day with them.  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the day…enjoy!

Ashley and Kendall opted to see each other before the wedding…but they still had a “first look” moment.  They were both so ecstatic to see each other all dolled up!

So sweet…

Ashley and Kendall were married in Breckenridge and had their reception amongst the ski slopes at the beautiful Ten Mile Station.  We took a few photos of them before heading down to the ceremony at Father Dyer Church.

I love the picture on the left…so sweet!  Don’t they look so happy?!?

Ashley, you are seriously gorgeous!

Bloom did a fabulous job with all of the flowers for the wedding.  Ashley’s great-grandmother was unable to attend the wedding…but she sent along the crocheted wrap that Ashley used for her flowers.  What a cute personal touch!  I loved her white peony bouquet…classically beautiful.

Ashley’s bridesmaids looked stunning in their adorable dresses from Anthropologie.

As they were leaving the church, Ashley and Kendall rang the church bells!  I loved that!  Look at their fabulous expressions…

Careful attention was paid to every detail at the reception.  The folks from Bella Designs did an amazing job bringing everything together and making the whole evening run smoothly.  How adorable are the guests place cards hanging with close-pins amongst pictures of Ashley and Kendall?

I love the rustic look of the candle holders wrapped in twine and the birch vases used for the centerpieces.

Colorado weather can be quite unpredictable…so Ashley and Kendall made sure their guests would be comfortable with a romantic fire-pit complete with gifts of comfy Pashmina wraps for their guests to cuddle up and stay warm.

Ashley and Kendall love to ski.  Their guest book was replaced with a pair of antique skis that the guests signed with congratulatory notes.  The names of their tables were the names of some of their favorite ski runs!

In lieu of a wedding cake, Ashley and Kendall opted for yummy pies!

Rain, rain, go away…no seriously…GO AWAY!  The past few days here in Denver have me missing the dry Colorado climate.  Andrew and I have had rain at the past three photo-shoots that we’ve done!  But even the rain couldn’t put a damper on Erin and Andrew’s spirits on their big day.  Erin and Andrew intended to get married in a beautiful rose garden in front of the water fountain at Hudson Gardens, but Saturday morning rolled around and it was rainy and cold.  Luckily, the Inn at Hudson Gardens was available and Erin and Andrew were able to move the ceremony and reception indoors.  Although it certainly wasn’t what they were expecting, Erin and Andrew took the changes in stride and focused on the most important thing…they were getting married!  The staff at Hudson Gardens, paired with the amazing people with the Food Guy Catering and Erin and Andrew’s friends and family turned the Inn at Hudson Gardens into a beautiful ceremony and reception site.  It was such a pleasure photographing Erin and Andrew’s wedding!  Here are a few of our favorites from their big day…Enjoy!

I’m officially in love with Erin’s Claire Pettibone wedding gown!  The flirty velvet and beaded floral details on the dress matched the romantic feeling of the day to a tee.  Bella Fiori did an outstanding job with all of the flowers for the event.

The last few days have felt more like autumn or winter here in Denver instead of late spring…cold, rainy and wet.  Erin and Andrew planned on having their wedding outside at the Hudson Gardens rose garden…but Mother Nature had different plans.  Saturday morning came around and it was 57 degrees and raining.  In fact, Andrew and I could see our breath in the morning as we were leaving to meet Erin and Andrew at the gardens…Crazy!  Luckily, the Inn at Hudson Gardens was available and Erin and Andrew were able to move the entire ceremony and reception inside next to the cozy fireplaces.  Although it probably wasn’t quite what they were expecting, Erin and Andrew took the changes in stride and celebrated their union with their closest friends and family.  We’ll have plenty more pictures to share, but here are a few sneak peek pictures.  Enjoy!

Andrew and I have returned from our fabulous family vacation to Disney World…check back later for some fun photos from our trip!  But alas…now it’s back to work!  We’ve been trying to catch up from our week away and I thought I would start off by showing you some more pictures from Cassie and Nate’s beautiful wedding.  Cassie and Nate were married at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church and had a wonderful reception at Denver’s City Park Pavilion.  Cassie and Nate met and fell in love in college…and after living in different states…will soon be living in the same state again!  YAY! :)  I’m always amazed when couples are able to continue to build strong relationships…even when they are living in different states!  Cassie and Nate are clearly head over heels for each other and we can’t wait to see where this life takes them.  Here are a few (okay…a lot…) of our favorites from their big day…Enjoy!

I loved Cassie’s beautiful and classic wedding gown…and yet another bride that has chosen fun shoes!! :)  I’m hoping this is a trend for the rest of the wedding season!  I love fun shoes!!!

Cassie and Nate’s wedding was full of color!  Their inspiration…citrus colors…yellows, oranges and pinks!

I love the anticipation in the bride’s room…it’s always so exciting.

I love the shot on the left with Cassie’s “I DO” (which was also her something blue) showing on the bottom of her colorful shoes!

St. Ignatius Loyola Church was the perfect location for Cassie and Nate’s wedding.

JUST MARRIED!

The girls bright yellow dresses and multicolored flowers really popped against each other.  Andrew’s sister Chrissy (far right) is one of Cassie’s good friends…and one of her bridesmaids!

I loved this detail picture from Cassie’s bouquet!  Cassie included some small photos of her loved ones on the hand-tied ribbon around her beautiful flowers.

Cassie is quite the shutterbug.  In fact, she is rarely without a camera in her hands!  The picture on the right was totally her idea!  Nate’s last name is Williams…so the two wanted to get some pictures in front of Cassie’s new last name!  I love the way it turned out…great idea, Cassie! :)

You guys are such a cute couple…seriously!

The Food Guy did an amazing job with all of the catering for the reception.  I loved this veggie, fruit and cheese station on the sticks!

The best-man and maid of honor did a joint toast…very nice!

Cassie’s Dad had some trouble getting through all of his toast without getting a bit emotional…but her Mom came to the rescue!  So cute!

In lieu of a wedding cake, Cassie and Nate had a delicious cheesecake and served their guests a variety of flavors of colorful sorbet!

Cassie and Nate hired Shutterbooth for their reception.  There guests were having a blast hopping in and out of the photobooth, capturing some fun memories for the bride and groom!

Lastly, I snapped this photo of the whole Schaefer clan during the reception.  Unfortunately…Andrew still has the beard.  :(

Cassie and Nate – Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your special day!  We had such a great time and you guys make such a wonderful couple!  Best of luck to you both and here’s to living in the same state!  Whoo Hoo!!
