Kerri Butler of A Touch of Bliss did an amazing job of bringing Lauren and Archie’s dream wedding into a reality.  I loved the copper details that could be found throughout the entire reception.

Pink Monkey Solutions did an incredible job with the decor and lighting for the reception.  The Monkey’s turned the blank ceiling at Cielo at Castle Pines into lighting with magnificent aspen tree leaves…it completely transformed the room!

Pops of teal and copper could be found throughout the entire room…

Lauren and Archie’s guests received individual favors filled with goodies…how cute!  Lisa with It’s a Gift provided this fun detail – Love it!

Paula with Teacup Shop provided the amazing cake…it tasted even better than it looks (if that’s even possible!)

Elements Catering provided all of the delicious food for the evening…yum!

Pink Monkey Solutions also set up an amazing lounge area where guests could sit back, relax and chat.

The first dance…

Archie’s son got the dancing started for the night…he was pretty good!

Lauren’s grandparents just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary…how sweet is that?!?

The guys even sang their rendition of “You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feelin’.”

A Music Plus kept the party going with some great dance music…everyone was out on the dance floor!  And if they weren’t on the dance floor, they were having fun in the photo booth set up by Shutterbooth.

Of course we had to get a picture of Kerri with Lauren and Archie at the end of the night!

A huge thanks to all of the VOWS Wedding Collective members that helped to make Lauren and Archie’s wedding a huge success!  This was the first wedding where ALL of us worked together to do what we do best…and it couldn’t have been more fun!

Andrew and I were lucky to be part of the VOWS Wedding Collective and Everyday Show’s (Channel 2) Dream Wedding Giveaway.  Lauren and Archie have spent the past couple of months allowing the viewers of the Everyday Show to choose nearly every big and small detail of their wedding day.  From the venue to the dress and almost everything in between, Lauren and Archie graciously accepted every decision (in fact…I think they loved every decision) and enjoyed the whirlwind of planning an amazing wedding in only two months!  Kerri Butler with A Touch of Bliss had a fantastic vision for the big day and all of the VOWS vendors did an incredible job of creating the wedding of Lauren and Archie’s dreams.  We feel so blessed to have been a part of it!  Here is part one of some of our favorite pictures from the wedding.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for more of the beautiful details from Lauren and Archie’s wedding…enjoy!

Lauren’s gorgeous bridal gown was provided by Little White Dress Bridal Shop…the lace detail was absolutely stunning!

I loved Lauren’s adorable Luichiny shoes!  I couldn’t decide which picture to share, so I put in a few!

Lisa with Sweet Pea Flowers did an amazing job with all of the flowers for the wedding.  The bridesmaids bouquets consisted of beautiful succulents, calla lilies, peonies, peacock feathers and accents of copper wire…too cool!

Lauren spent the morning getting ready at the Magnolia Hotel.  Janine Schmenk with Makeup by Janine did a fabulous job with Lauren’s makeup and Gina Menapace with Salon Onyx at Sola Salon Studios did a great job with her hair!

Lauren and Archie’s wedding rings were provided by Jay Feder Jewelers…love this shot!

Lauren’s bouquet featured gorgeous orchids, peonies, calla lilies, roses, succulents and fun, flirty feathers.  How cool does that look?!?

Cate from Little White Dress was there to make sure that Lauren looked perfect in her dress and veil before heading down the aisle!

A few more details from the day.  I loved the guys dark brown tuxes paired with the teal ties (Provided by Al’s Formal Wear) and the ladies teal bridesmaids dresses from Little White Dress.

Lauren had her grandmother’s ring tied onto a string on her bouquet.  I love personal touches like that!

Cielo at Castle Pines has the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony and a grand hall for fabulous receptions!

After the ceremony, Andrew took Lauren and Archie up to Daniel’s Park while I stayed back and took a bunch of detail pictures.  I love these pictures that Andrew captured!

Lauren and Archie – we couldn’t be more happy and excited for you!  We are so happy that we were able to play a role in your very special day!  Congratulations!!

This past Sunday marked the conclusion of a whirlwind of a couple of months for Lauren and Archie, the winners of the VOWS and Everyday Show (Channel 2) Dream Wedding Giveaway.  Lauren and Archie were married on Sunday and we couldn’t be happier for them!  All of the amazing VOWS vendors delivered one beautiful wedding…check back for some of the amazing details!  Andrew and I had such a great time photographing Lauren and Archie…here’s a few sneak peek pictures.  Enjoy! :)

It takes a special couple to give up control on all of the decisions about their wedding.  Imagine not being able to chose your wedding gown, venue, flowers, cake, invitations, tuxes…but instead, leaving those decisions in the hands of complete strangers.  I certainly couldn’t have given up that much control!  But Lauren and Archie, the winners of the Dream Wedding Giveaway with the Everyday Show and VOWS are perfectly content with the decisions that have been made by the shows viewers.  Clearly these two understand that all of those little details about a wedding aren’t the most important part…although they certainly are a lot of fun to plan!  Lauren and Archie see the bigger picture.  Their wedding day won’t be about all of the little things…but instead it will be a huge celebration of their love with their amazing friends and families standing witness.

Most couples spend a year planning their big day.  After nearly 20,000 votes had been tallied and Lauren and Archie were chosen as the winners of the dream wedding, the whirlwind began.  Lauren was quickly taken to try on wedding dresses, venues were chosen, invitations were picked…and within about two months time every decision will have been made and the wedding day will be here.  All the while, Lauren and Archie have been enjoying the ride and getting more and more excited for their big day.

Andrew and I had such a great time photographing Lauren and Archie’s engagement pictures yesterday!  We hit the streets of Cherry Creek and must of looked like the paparazzi.  Andrew and I were both shooting and we were joined by the very talented Jeff Siebert with 1321 Studios Videography and a camera crew from the Everyday Show.  On a side note, definitely go check out Lauren and Archie’s Save the Dave video from 1321 Studios Videography…it’s amazing!  Even with all of those cameras, Lauren and Archie were completely comfortable and did such a great job!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the session…enjoy!
