So get this…Beth and Shawn met at a wedding that we photographed!  In fact, Beth was a bridesmaid at the wedding.  How sweet is that?!?  And of course we were even more excited when Cassie and Nate passed our names along to these two when they started planning their wedding.  Heck, that’s the best compliment we can get! :)  We were certainly looking forward to officially meeting them while they were out in Colorado around the Holidays.  Their idea for the perfect engagement session…open fields of a snow!  We found the perfect location up in Evergreen and it even began to snow towards the end of the session…perfect!  Here are a few of our favorites…

We are getting super excited over here for Corrie and Scott’s wedding this weekend up at the Boettcher Mansion!  We knew this Seattle couple would be a ton of fun to work with…and we had such a blast with them while they were out for Thanksgiving!  We headed out to Cheeseman Park for a few shots and then ventured over to Larimer Square to warm up with some Starbucks and to take a couple more photos at night.  Here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session…and be sure to check back soon for some of the picture from their winter wedding!

The Holidays are almost here and it seems like we’ve been flying around like crazy…trying to get everything finished!  I’m happy to announce that I’m done with all of my shopping, baking and wrapping!  (Imagine me wiping my brow.)  I finally had a chance to sit down and get Mandy and Kevin’s blog post up too!  Hey…look at me go! :)

When we first met Mandy and Kevin over some delicious ice cream we knew that they were going to be a blast to work with…so we were definitely excited to see them again for their engagement session about a month ago!  We headed down to Parker for a fun evening of shooting, wind (quite miserable wind actually…but they were total troopers), lots of laughter, yummy food and a wonder dog named Finn!  We had such a great time with these two and we are so excited for their wedding next September at the Canyon Wind Cellars in Palisade, CO.  Can’t wait!  Here are our favorites from the day…enjoy! :)

We’ve been busy little bees over here…editing away at weddings and engagement sessions.  So we’ll have plenty to share over the next couple of weeks.  But today it’s Andrea and Dave’s turn!  After meeting Andrea and Dave for the first time a few weeks ago…we knew that they were a good fit for us!  They are fun and easy-going…full of laughter and so obviously in love!  We had such a great time with them last week during their engagement session.  We headed to the park where they first met.  It happened by chance, but if you ask me it must have been fate.  She was walking her dog…he was walking his dog (all I picture is 101 Dalmations, with the dogs tangling the two of them up in the leashes!)  We can’t wait for their wedding next July at the Greenbriar Inn!  Here are some of our favorites…

They met in Vegas.  I know, right?  :)  She was there for business, he was there for pleasure…and I’m pretty sure neither of them expected to find the love of their life on a trip to Vegas…but they did!  They were married this week and promised their families that they’d get some pictures taken after the fact…and we’re sure glad they called us!  We met Brittany and Josh on Wednesday in downtown Denver for a few fun portraits.  We had such a great time with Brittany and Josh and we couldn’t be more happy and excited for them!

Brittany and Josh – Thanks so much for inviting us into your lives, even if for only a brief moment!  And of course, thank you for the sacrifices that you’ll both be making for our country in the year to come.  If it weren’t for brave men and women like you Josh, this place wouldn’t be the same!  And Brittany, I imagine a lot of what will keep him staying strong during his deployment is knowing that he’ll be coming home to his loving wife!  Stay safe out there and hurry home…to DENVER that is!  :)

They both knew that there might be something there.  You know…something more than “just friends”.  Something that could be “it”.  It wasn’t too long after she moved to Denver that they were sure…this was definitely IT!  They remember the exact moment that they fell in love…on that playground in Breckenridge.  The same playground where he proposed months later.  When you know, you just know.

We had such an incredible time with Brika and Justin last week!  We headed out for some fun, urban engagement pictures in the Highlands and downtown Denver…and I think we laughed through the entire session!  Brika and Justin are full of life…and really just big kids at heart! :)  We can’t wait for their wedding this October at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden…it’s going to be amazing!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy! :)

We met up with Jenny and Kip (some of The Beard’s earliest supporters) this past weekend for their engagement session!  We remember laughing our way through our first meeting with these two…and we continued right where we left off during their session!  I think Jenny and Kip may have been the first couple that we met with after Andrew decided that he was going to grown a beard.  They broke my heart and made Andrew’s head even bigger by proclaiming that they didn’t mind the beard…in fact, they liked it!  (Unfortunately for me the beard is still here…although it has been recently trimmed and it looks almost presentable!)

We had such a great time photographing Jenny and Kip and we are so unbelievably excited for their wedding at the Little Nell in Aspen this summer!  It’s going to be such an amazing wedding and we can’t wait to see these two tie the knot!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from their session…enjoy! :)

We were so thrilled when we heard that Jennifer and Kevin were engaged…and even more thrilled when they decided that they wanted us to be their photographers!  You see, Andrew and I photographed Jennifer’s sister, Emily and Paul’s wedding over a year ago…and we love working with the same families again and again!  About a month ago Andrew and I headed up to Guanella Pass for some fun, relaxed engagement pictures of Jennifer and Kevin.  Luckily, we timed their engagement pictures perfectly with some of the beautiful Colorado fall colors.  The bright yellow aspen trees, dirt roads and open meadows provided the perfect backdrop to capture Jennifer and Kevin’s fun personalities!  We had such a great time getting to know Jennifer and Kevin better and we can’t wait for their wedding next summer in Estes Park at the YMCA of the Rockies Mountainside Chapel.  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

They met for the first time through a mutual friend in Atlanta.  Six months later, her number still remained in his phone…though he never once dialed.  For some reason he couldn’t find it in himself to get rid of that one number.  Luck (or fate) would bring them to the same place again at an Atlanta Braves game – and now in a little over two weeks Rebecca and Adam will tie the knot surrounded by their closest friends and family at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado!

We met Rebecca and Adam up at Chautauqua Park in Bouder last Monday for a few rustic, Colorado mountain engagement pictures before heading into town for a more urban feel.  When we first met them back in February, we knew instantly that they were going to be so much fun to work with.  Sarcastic, excited, funny and fun-loving – that’s just our type!  We had such a blast shooting their engagement pictures and we can’t wait for the wedding…here are a few of our favorites from their session.  Leave us a comment and let us know what you think!
