Why are kids so cute?!?  When my good friend Terra announced that she and her husband, Matt were having twins last year…I was beyond excited!  I think I’ve known Terra for about 12 years.  She’s been there for nearly every life-changing and important part of both my sister’s and my life…and I can’t imagine her not being there for all of the important things to come!  I finally got to meet Grayson and Finley last weekend…as Terra made the trip with the twins (with Grandma’s help!) back to Colorado for a visit.  They are just as adorable as I expected…if not more!  Grayson is a mini-version of his daddy, Matt…laid-back and easy-going.  And Finley looks just like her momma (with the exception of her blue eyes)…but her personality reminds me of Terra.  Look out! :)

I only got to spend a few hours with them, but I feel oh so fortunate to have been able to capture some memories of the twins’ first trip to Colorado.  They’re nearly one year old and I can’t wait to see where this life takes them!  Congratulations, Terra and Matt!  Grayson and Finley are simply amazing and I can’t wait for you to come back soon!!!

It’s been a little over a year since we first photographed little Owen and his parents Brian and Amber.  With the new addition of baby Adalyn to the family it was definitely time to get together again for some more pictures of the Berenz family.  We had such a wonderful evening playing and exploring with Owen and Adalyn and we can’t wait for next year!  Here are a few of our favorites from their portrait session…enjoy!

They met in Vegas.  I know, right?  :)  She was there for business, he was there for pleasure…and I’m pretty sure neither of them expected to find the love of their life on a trip to Vegas…but they did!  They were married this week and promised their families that they’d get some pictures taken after the fact…and we’re sure glad they called us!  We met Brittany and Josh on Wednesday in downtown Denver for a few fun portraits.  We had such a great time with Brittany and Josh and we couldn’t be more happy and excited for them!

Brittany and Josh – Thanks so much for inviting us into your lives, even if for only a brief moment!  And of course, thank you for the sacrifices that you’ll both be making for our country in the year to come.  If it weren’t for brave men and women like you Josh, this place wouldn’t be the same!  And Brittany, I imagine a lot of what will keep him staying strong during his deployment is knowing that he’ll be coming home to his loving wife!  Stay safe out there and hurry home…to DENVER that is!  :)

This past weekend we had the great pleasure of spending some time with 20 month old twins, Andrew and Mazie!  The twins did such a great job and they are two of the cutest kids around!  We had so much fun chasing them around, splashing in puddles, coloring, playing piano and going down the slide…I don’t know who was more tired by the end of the session, the twins or us!  Thank you so much to Katherine and Doug for opening their lives to us for a brief moment, and sharing the wonderful joys of Andrew and Mazie’s laughter, excitement and personalities!  Here are some of our favorites from their lifestyle session…enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago Andrew and I were fortunate enough to photograph the Lind family again!  It’s been several months since we first photographed Lainey, Trent and baby Logan and we couldn’t believe how big she has gotten…can you believe she’s already 10 months old?!?  We headed out to Denver’s Wash Park with Lainey and Trent for a few fun lifestyle portraits of Logan.  Thanks to the mild weather we’ve had here in Colorado for the last couple of months…we still had plenty of fall leaves to act as the background for this session!  Logan did a fantastic job…she was a real trooper and I’m pretty sure she just might be the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy! :)

After traveling thousands of miles from their home in Germany to Colorado, Sarah and Matthias celebrated their “American Wedding” yesterday at the beautiful La Foret Conference Center in Black Forest, Colorado.  When we first “met” Sarah and Matthias over a Skype video call, we knew that they were going to be so much fun to work with…and meeting them in person this week definitely solidified our first impressions!  Sarah and Matthias celebrated their first wedding this May in Germany, so this session wasn’t exactly an “engagement shoot” but it was still fun to go out and shoot some laid-back, relaxed portraits.  Here are a few of our favorites from their session.  Be sure to check back for some of their beautiful wedding photos!  Enjoy!

I can’t even imagine only being 3 weeks old…crazy!  Brycen might just be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen…and you can just tell that his parents are overwhelmed with joy!  Andrew and I had the great pleasure of photographing Emily, Travis and baby Brycen last week and we couldn’t have had more fun!  Emily and Andrew lived in the same dorm freshman year in college up at CSU and have remained friends through the years!  Brycen is an adorable, cuddly, bouncing baby boy and we couldn’t be more excited for Emily and Travis!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from their session…enjoy!

We photographed Rebekah and Bryan’s wedding almost two years ago and we were so excited when they called us to photograph their one year old daughter Addison.  We headed to Bryan and Rebekah’s house on Tuesday and had a great time taking pictures of Addison.  Here are a few of our favorites from the day…enjoy! :)
