We love photographing weddings at all sorts of different locations.  Whether it’s a laid-back Colorado mountain affair (complete with cowboy boots…of course) or an elegant urban wedding taking place in downtown Denver…it doesn’t matter!  We simply just love shooting weddings, regardless of the location!

Take Denver’s City Park for example…typically thought of as the perfect place to sit back with a good book, bbq with some friends or partake in a game of football.  It just turns out that City Park is also the perfect place to get married!  The pavilion offers great shelter from the weather and the park is full of excellent spots for lots of different types of photographs!  Check out Cassie and Nate’s wedding below and click here for more of our weddings featuring Denver’s City Park.

It’s been a little over three weeks since Tricia and Brian said “I do”…and I’m sure that they’re still unwinding a bit from their big day!  Andrew and I had such a great time photographing Tricia and Brian’s wedding and getting to spend some more time with Tricia’s family since Joel and Katie’s wedding last summer.  Tricia and Brian were married in a beautiful ceremony at the L2 Arts and Culture Center in downtown Denver.  We are so incredibly happy for these two, they truly are the perfect pair!  Here are a few of our favorites from their big day…enjoy!

How awesome are Tricia’s blue patent leather heels?  Love them!  And her dress was absolutely stunning too!

Janine Schmenk with Makeup by Janine did an amazing job with Tricia’s makeup.  Her eyes were on fire!

Tricia and Brian had quite possibly the most-organized large wedding party we’ve ever witnessed!  All the guys and gals were in the right spot at the right time…it was awesome! :)

After shooting some fun, relaxed portraits of Tricia and Brian, we headed to the Denver West Marriott to take some pictures of their reception.

We love working with the same family multiple times…and it’s even more special when we have close ties with the bride and groom.  Tricia and Brian were married earlier this month in a gorgeous ceremony at the L2 Arts and Culture Center in downtown Denver.  We’ve known Tricia for several years…as her brother Joel was one of Andrew’s roommates in college, and we couldn’t be happier for her and Brian!  As was clearly evident during their big day…these two love birds are just plain crazy about each other!  Congratulations to Tricia and Brian and their two spectacular families!  Here are a few sneak peek pictures…more coming soon!  Enjoy! :)

Andrew and I have returned from our fabulous family vacation to Disney World…check back later for some fun photos from our trip!  But alas…now it’s back to work!  We’ve been trying to catch up from our week away and I thought I would start off by showing you some more pictures from Cassie and Nate’s beautiful wedding.  Cassie and Nate were married at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church and had a wonderful reception at Denver’s City Park Pavilion.  Cassie and Nate met and fell in love in college…and after living in different states…will soon be living in the same state again!  YAY! :)  I’m always amazed when couples are able to continue to build strong relationships…even when they are living in different states!  Cassie and Nate are clearly head over heels for each other and we can’t wait to see where this life takes them.  Here are a few (okay…a lot…) of our favorites from their big day…Enjoy!

I loved Cassie’s beautiful and classic wedding gown…and yet another bride that has chosen fun shoes!! :)  I’m hoping this is a trend for the rest of the wedding season!  I love fun shoes!!!

Cassie and Nate’s wedding was full of color!  Their inspiration…citrus colors…yellows, oranges and pinks!

I love the anticipation in the bride’s room…it’s always so exciting.

I love the shot on the left with Cassie’s “I DO” (which was also her something blue) showing on the bottom of her colorful shoes!

St. Ignatius Loyola Church was the perfect location for Cassie and Nate’s wedding.

JUST MARRIED!

The girls bright yellow dresses and multicolored flowers really popped against each other.  Andrew’s sister Chrissy (far right) is one of Cassie’s good friends…and one of her bridesmaids!

I loved this detail picture from Cassie’s bouquet!  Cassie included some small photos of her loved ones on the hand-tied ribbon around her beautiful flowers.

Cassie is quite the shutterbug.  In fact, she is rarely without a camera in her hands!  The picture on the right was totally her idea!  Nate’s last name is Williams…so the two wanted to get some pictures in front of Cassie’s new last name!  I love the way it turned out…great idea, Cassie! :)

You guys are such a cute couple…seriously!

After the ceremony we headed over to City Park to finish up the rest of Cassie and Nate’s pictures…

The Food Guy did an amazing job with all of the catering for the reception.  I loved this veggie, fruit and cheese station on the sticks!

The best-man and maid of honor did a joint toast…very nice!

Cassie’s Dad had some trouble getting through all of his toast without getting a bit emotional…but her Mom came to the rescue!  So cute!

In lieu of a wedding cake, Cassie and Nate had a delicious cheesecake and served their guests a variety of flavors of colorful sorbet!

Cassie and Nate hired Shutterbooth for their reception.  There guests were having a blast hopping in and out of the photobooth, capturing some fun memories for the bride and groom!

Lastly, I snapped this photo of the whole Schaefer clan during the reception.  Unfortunately…Andrew still has the beard.  :(

Cassie and Nate – Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your special day!  We had such a great time and you guys make such a wonderful couple!  Best of luck to you both and here’s to living in the same state!  Whoo Hoo!!

Andrew and I leave for a family vacation to Disney World tomorrow morning…but we couldn’t leave without sharing a few sneak peek photos from Cassie and Nate’s beautiful wedding today!  Cassie and Nate were married at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church and partied the night away at a wonderful reception in Denver’s City Park Pavilion.  We can’t wait to share more photos from their fun wedding!  Check back next week for some more pictures…until then – Enjoy!
