We are getting super excited over here for Corrie and Scott’s wedding this weekend up at the Boettcher Mansion!  We knew this Seattle couple would be a ton of fun to work with…and we had such a blast with them while they were out for Thanksgiving!  We headed out to Cheeseman Park for a few shots and then ventured over to Larimer Square to warm up with some Starbucks and to take a couple more photos at night.  Here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session…and be sure to check back soon for some of the picture from their winter wedding!

We can’t wait for Stacey and Sean’s wedding coming up this October at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden!  If it’s anything like last Friday night when we got together for their engagement session in downtown Denver…it’s sure to be a heck of a good time!  Congratulations, you two…can’t wait for the wedding! :)  Here are a few of our favorites…

They met in Vegas.  I know, right?  :)  She was there for business, he was there for pleasure…and I’m pretty sure neither of them expected to find the love of their life on a trip to Vegas…but they did!  They were married this week and promised their families that they’d get some pictures taken after the fact…and we’re sure glad they called us!  We met Brittany and Josh on Wednesday in downtown Denver for a few fun portraits.  We had such a great time with Brittany and Josh and we couldn’t be more happy and excited for them!

Brittany and Josh – Thanks so much for inviting us into your lives, even if for only a brief moment!  And of course, thank you for the sacrifices that you’ll both be making for our country in the year to come.  If it weren’t for brave men and women like you Josh, this place wouldn’t be the same!  And Brittany, I imagine a lot of what will keep him staying strong during his deployment is knowing that he’ll be coming home to his loving wife!  Stay safe out there and hurry home…to DENVER that is!  :)

They both knew that there might be something there.  You know…something more than “just friends”.  Something that could be “it”.  It wasn’t too long after she moved to Denver that they were sure…this was definitely IT!  They remember the exact moment that they fell in love…on that playground in Breckenridge.  The same playground where he proposed months later.  When you know, you just know.

We had such an incredible time with Brika and Justin last week!  We headed out for some fun, urban engagement pictures in the Highlands and downtown Denver…and I think we laughed through the entire session!  Brika and Justin are full of life…and really just big kids at heart! :)  We can’t wait for their wedding this October at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden…it’s going to be amazing!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy! :)

Meet Ellie and Jeff!  They currently live in New Hampshire, but we were able to fit in an engagement session during their most recent trip to Denver.  Actually…the night before the two celebrated their bachelor and bachelorette parties with some of their local friends…but they were total troopers as we tromped around downtown Denver for their urban engagement pictures!  We can’t wait for their wedding next month at the Riverfront Park and Oxford Hotel…it’s going to be awesome!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago we met Katie and Par for the first time near downtown Denver.  Katie contacted us about doing some engagement pictures for them here in Denver, as they are getting married in Chicago.  It’s always a little strange to photograph people that we’ve just met…it’s kind of like “Hello…my name is Jessica and this is my bearded husband Andrew…and we’re going to take your picture now…just act natural.”  But it couldn’t have gone any better when we met Katie and Par.  We hit it off right away and had such a great time photographing them!  Now we are so bummed that we are going to miss the wedding!  :(  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago the weather was crazy here in Denver!  We had scheduled Lisa and Josh’s engagement session and the evening turned out to be quite rainy and cold…but Lisa and Josh were troopers as we played out in the rain for a bit.  We walked around the Belmar shopping district and then headed over to Belmar Park.  We got some fun pictures in the rain, but decided it would be fun to head out again when Mother Nature was behaving to get some shots that were rain-free!  We met Lisa and Josh for some yummy dessert at Little Man Ice Cream and headed out downtown for a few more photos.  Lisa and Josh – we had such a blast with you both and we can’t wait for your wedding later this month!  Here are a few of our favorite pictures…enjoy!

The weather this past week in Denver has felt more like Oregon than Colorado…rainy, cloudy and cold! :(  But cloudy weather can make for some great pictures!  We photographed Elizabeth and Larry’s engagement session this past weekend and had such a great time playing in the rain with these two.  Elizabeth and Larry are getting married in Estes Park, Colorado at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau in October and we couldn’t be more excited for their wedding!  Here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session…be sure to leave us a comment and let us know what you think.  Enjoy! :)

We started shooting around the Riverfront Park / Commons Park area in downtown Denver.  Elizabeth and Larry wanted to make sure that we got some great spring pictures…so we headed out in search of flowers and blooming trees…

This sequence makes me laugh.  First of all, Elizabeth you are absolutely stunning!  I believe my exact instructions to Larry in this sequence were to “stand here and look like a COOL dude.”  Larry jokingly asked if he should look off to the left…and then did…and then proceeded to point.  Love, love, love Elizabeth’s expression as she is laughing at her groom-to-be!

I love the picture that Andrew captured on the left…the “almost kiss” is always the steamiest! :)

I love the leading lines in this picture as well…

Clearly Elizabeth and Larry are going to spend a lot of time laughing in their life together…Love it!
