So clearly we are WAY behind on blogging…but if you know anything about Andrew and I, it’s that we love Christmas!  I mean, we really love Christmas…to the point that we have a Christmas countdown on our computer year-round.  It’s 312 days away…just in case you were wondering! :)  So we apologize for our slacking in the blogging department…we’ve got a lot of catching up to do!  But we figured there wouldn’t be any better place than to start back up with Kelsey and Chris’ adorable engagement session in Vail, CO during the holidays.

We love when we meet with a couple and instantly know that we want to work with them; and that’s exactly how we felt meeting Kelsey and Chris.  They are getting married at the Vail Cascade in September of this year and we are very excited for their day!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…enjoy! :)

Life is finally starting to slow down a bit. Since we had some time, we thought we’d share some pictures from Lisa and Mike’s beautiful fall Colorado mountain wedding overlooking the Vail Valley at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera near Beaver Creek. We had a blast photography Lisa and Mike on their big day. Here are a few of our favorites from the day…

This is one of my favorite moments of the entire wedding day…when the bride anxiously gets into her dress. You can always just feel the anticipation in the air.

Another of my favorite moments…the first look! Lisa and Mike opted to see eachother and take a lot of their pictures before the ceremony. It made the rest of the day run so smoothly. I love the look on Lisa’s face as she see’s Mike for the first time.

It’s been over a month since we took Lisa and Mike’s engagement pictures at Red Rocks and we’re just now getting around to blogging about it! How pathetic are we! The weather was beautiful as we ventured out to meet Lisa and Mike at Red Rocks…and we knew the views would be incredible. We had a blast taking pictures with Lisa and Mike and their adorable puppy Hanna. Here are a few of our favorites from the session.

I really love when brides to be call us immediately after getting engaged. That means they’re excited about getting married and excited about planning their wedding and excited about their new life as husband and wife. These are the couples that we love working with (and have been lucky enough to work with) and Cassie and Nate are the epitome of the perfect couple. They are getting married in Denver next summer but wanted to go to Vail for some engagement pictures…so we happily obliged. Cassie had been to the Vail Village recently and loved the colors and the excitement of the area. They even brought their dog Lily with them and she couldn’t have been easier to photograph.
